How to Make a Happiness Jar
Okay so let's admit that not everyday can be the exciting life we had planned but that's okay! When we are feeling down in the dumps is good to reflect and appreciate the many happy memories we have had so we know that there are plenty more to make in the future! One way to do this is to create a happiness jar!
1. Clean out a jar! You don't want it to be really small that it won't fit much in but a medium jar will suffice.
2. Tear up pieces of paper into strips and write down happy memories. Write down times somebody did something kind for you, you helped somebody out, you spent time with family etc...
3. Fold the pieces of paper and place them in the jar.
4. When you are feeling down just take a memory out and remind yourself that there are better days and that there is so much to be thankful for!
